Flower resin workshop

In this fun and friendly workshop you will be guided through the process to create your own dipped resin flowers, using wire, florists tape and resin. These monthly classes are part of a series of flower resin workshops throughout the year, with the resin flower corresponding with the flower that you would naturally find in bloom in that month! The classes are suitable for beginners, you do not need to have attended a class before to attend any of the below dates nor do you need to sign up to all of them – you can “dip” in and out (excuse the pun!).
Dates and flowers:
Saturday 21st March 2026, 10am – 12pm – Bluebells
Thursday 23rd April 2026, 10am - 12pm - Dandelions
Saturday 9th May 2026, 10am - 12pm - Daisies

Saturday 18th July 2026, 10am - 12pm - Honeysuckle

Cost: £24 per person. You can book online (booking fee applies), in person in our shop, or by phone on 01769 572 401.

“Bread and dips” basket making workshop

Exmoor National Park Centre, Lynmouth

Come and join local basket maker Jane and learn how to make a useful flat basket, with local willow and natural fibres.  It is a friendly and welcoming workshop, where we learn and explore the slow rhythm of weaving. Attendees will be using local willow to each make a shallow basket, ideal for serving bread and dips, or displaying fruit.
We will work together, and you will learn to make a base, then a traditional stake and strand shallow basket.
This workshop is ideal for those who have attended a previous workshop with Jane (although not essential), as we will revise some of the skills you have already gained. All materials are included in the course fee. Please book by calling the Exmoor National Park Centre Lynmouth on 01598 752509.

Sing & Sauna

Sauna and song are both ancient forms of connection and communion - with self, nature, spirit, and each other. In our Sing & Sauna sessions, set in an earthy Exmoor valley, the elements are close and the songs are simple, fun and uplifting. No experience or skills are required! We start by singing round an outdoor fire, before moving into the delicious heat of the wood barrel sauna. We relax and acclimatise, take a cold water plunge (if desired), and then join voices again in the delightful acoustics and ambience of the sauna. Fire, water, land, breath and song come together for an experience that is both relaxing and invigorating. Book now!
