The Minehead Bay Festival is a vibrant celebration of art, culture and live music held on the West Somerset coast. Since 2022, it has brought residents and visitors together for a full day of creative, family-friendly activities along Minehead’s seafront. Produced by the Minehead and Coast Development Trust and shaped by the people of Minehead, the festival showcases everything from trial bike stunts and skateboarding lessons to dance performances, circus acts, wellbeing workshops, live painting, and two music stages. Nature-based activities led by local wildlife organisations, along with a large variety of food and drink stalls, add to the atmosphere. Thousands attend each year to enjoy the energy, creativity and strong community spirit that define this highlight of Minehead’s cultural calendar.
