As it enters a new chapter, cared for by the National Trust, our exhibition looks at this special place and the people who have helped bring it back to life for nature and community. Horse riding weekend at Calvert Devon
What is a horse riding weekend?
These weekends are dedicated to those who love horses and life in the stables.
If you or someone in your family is horsey-mad, take this opportunity to spend two whole days with the equestrian team for riding lessons, hacks, animal care, and lots of fun.

Riding tuition, which could involve a hack to Wistlandpound Reservoir depending on the weather
Horse-based games and riding challenges to increase confidence
Grooming
