Berry gathering basket workshop
Come and join local basket maker Jane and learn how to make a sweet little basket. It is a friendly and welcoming workshop, where we explore the slow rhythm of weaving. Attendees will be using local willow to each make a small gathering basket, ideal for collecting rosehips or sloes.
What to bring:Please bring along secateurs if you have them, and a water spray bottle if you have one. You may prefer to wear an apron, or old clothes, and please wear shoes which cover your feet. Bring your own lunch or there is a café on site. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Abseiling
Feel the rush as you ascend and descend a purpose-built abseil wall, and push yourself further with various levels of difficulty.
With specialist harnesses and expert support, these gravity-defying experiences are designed for confidence-building and pure adrenaline. They are accessible for all abilities, including wheelchair users.

Whether scaling our indoor wall or heading outdoors to test your limits, climbing at Calvert Devon is all about determination, encouragement, and fun. Adaptive equipment and skilled instructors make it achievable for everyone.

Wildlife Walks at Quince Honey Farm
Join us for a wildlife walk with your children around the gardens and grounds of Quince Honey Farm! This is a family friendly walk, designed with little ones in mind, to discover the delights of nature and the great outdoors.
Our friendly Education Team will lead this activity, that will explore the nature and wildlife found around Quince Honey Farm. Your little ones will be encouraged to look, learn and spot the signs of wildlife that are all around us. Children must be accompanied by parents/guardians.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on leads. The walk will last approximately 45 minutes, but you are welcome to continue exploring afterwards.

On arrival please let the shop know that you are here for the Nature Walk and they will direct you to the meeting point. This is a free activity. A donation towards our Nectar Gardens would be appreciated.
