The Season of Frost and Fire with Rebecca Beattie

We invite you to step into the liminal space between the seasons for a restorative and imaginative creative walk with author and green witch, Rebecca Beattie, inspired by her book The Season of Frost and Fire: A Witch’s Winter in 13 Rituals. Designed for anyone craving a seasonal reset and a dip into nature as we begin to lean into the dark half of the year.

Departing from Seven Fables, the walk will lead you across the river into the woods where we will hear readings from Rebecca's new book, followed by an informal Q&A and book signing opportunity.

The afternoon will also include a journaling exercise to connect to this liminal time between the seasons. Come ready to reflect, write and rekindle your inner peace. You are welcome to bring your own sketchbook, pencils and pens, although you do have the option to purchase a journalling bundle with your ticket.

The walk departs from outside Seven Fables at 2pm - please arrive in good time to check in. A walking fitness is required as there is a slight ascent into the woods, and we kindly request NO DOGS. It's Exmoor so, dress for all weathers as we still walk if wet. You are welcome to bring a mat or lightweight folding chair, alongside a flask of herbal tea if you wish!
