Exmoor National Park Authority arrange two festivals each year at either end of the main season. The Exmoor Nature Festival takes place in May, and the Exmoor Dark Skies Festival in October.

These festivals not only help to showcase and promote the special qualities of the area but also support rural businesses in the shoulder season. ENPA co-ordinates and markets the festivals , but a range of businesses and partners put on their own events under the festival banners.
